The West Pomeranian region has gained a new tool in the fight for the life and health of its residents – publicly available AED defibrillators, which are an important part of the rescue infrastructure in urban areas. This project, which was also implemented thanks to our involvement, is aimed at providing rapid assistance in case of sudden cardiac arrest.
The Marshal’s Office purchased 20 defibrillators, which were donated to coastal cities and municipalities. The new purchase was supported by a public rescue demonstration, conducted by the Goleniów-based Safety Culture Foundation. The action, carried out with the help of eight phantoms and five AED defibrillators, was intended to prove that anyone can respond effectively in a sudden cardiac arrest situation.
The installation of AED defibrillators in public places is a response to the growing awareness of the need to respond quickly in emergency situations. In the West Pomeranian region, on the initiative of local authorities, it has been possible to install these devices in strategic points such as markets, railway stations and parks, so that every passerby can become a rescuer. Our defibrillators are known for their reliability and ease of use, making them ideal for public use. While supplying the devices, we also took care of their professional installation and support in training the local community in AED use and first aid to maximize the chances of saving lives.
