Health safety has become a priority in Swinoujscie. Thanks to the initiative to install AED defibrillators, local communities can now feel safer. The defibrillators have significantly contributed to increasing the level of safety in the city.
As part of the winning “Spark of Life” civic budget project, Swinoujscie gained 55 new AED defibrillators, which were installed in strategic city locations such as schools, kindergartens and other public institutions. It’s an investment that not only raises healthcare standards, but also educates the community about the need to respond quickly in cases of sudden cardiac arrest. Defibrillators from the NIHON KOHDEN brand, known for their reliability and ease of use, are now available to anyone who needs help, increasing the chances of rescue and survival.
Cooperation with local administrations allowed to precisely plan the location of the devices to make them as accessible as possible to the community. Involvement in the project was not limited to the delivery of the equipment – equally important was training to the staff of the institutions where the defibrillators were installed, ensuring that they would be used correctly and effectively when needed. The technical condition of the equipment is constantly monitored and the equipment has maintenance, so it is always ready for use.
